Parents of autistic children are often scared, in disbelief, and suffer ongoing stress. Stress is often financial, emotional, and can have social impact on parents, relatives, friends, and neighbors. Families of autistic children often feel alone and confused without the benefit of professional support and assistance. Since 2000, American Healthcare Services Inc. has been providing respite care for families of autistic children in need of support.

We know that our professional care providers will help you maintain stability and implement a care plan that will help your child participate in safe activities. Our care providers receive on going training in service provision for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. We provide medical equipment at little or no cost to many insurance recipients. Information for support services is also available for families of developmentally disabled clients.
