DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY

Parent of children with developmental disability such as Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down syndrome, blindness, and Muscular Dystrophy are often scared, in disbelief, and suffer ongoing stress. Stress is often financial, emotional, and can have social impact on parent, relatives, friends, and neighbors.

Families of developmentally disabled children often feel alone and confused without the benefit of professional support and assistance. Since 2000, American Healthcare Services Inc. has been providing respite care for families of children with developmental disability in need of support. We know that our professional care providers will help you maintain stability and implement a care plan that will help your child participate in safe activities.

Our care providers receive continuous training in service provision for children with autism. We also provide information for support services that are available locally for families of developmentally disabled clients.
